2025 Open Gala Day

Thank you to everyone who participated in the WABC Gala Open Day sponsored by Bridget Robertson of Realmark Urban. It was great to see so many people interested in the game we love to play – bridge!

For those new to bridge, it was a joy to see everyone giving it a go and having a bit of fun.

For the experienced players, congratulations to the North/South winners (Sue and Deidre) and the East/West winners (Colleen and Carmel).

Where to from here?

Experienced Players:

• Join one of our regular duplicate lessons. Friday and Saturday afternoons have aduty partner so you can come on your own.

• Attend special workshops by renowned bridge teacher, Joan Butts (20 Feb – 23 Feb 2026).

New To Bridge:

• Attend one of our supervised sessions – come on your own or with a partner, bring your notes and ask questions of our friendly supervisor.

• Start from the beginning – join our beginner’s course on 2 Feb 2026. Full details on our website from Jan 2026 or ask Jodie.
