UPDATE REGARDING THE CITY OF NEDLANDS REQUEST TO VARY THE CLUB’S LEASE
The club’s agreement with the City of Nedlands was subject to the Club obtaining satisfactory legal advice. This legal advice has subsequently been obtained and as a result of that advice the City of Nedlands has been notified that the club’s conditional agreement to their request to vary our lease has been withdrawn. A copy of this message to has been placed on the clubs notice board.
Please note that a Q and A document has just been received from the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation, and this has been placed on the clubs notice board with some printed copies available as well. This document explains the PCHF position how the clubs leased land will be affected by the proposed Allen Park land excise by the Minister. Of course, the final decision on this matter is very much in the hands of the State Government.
The club is hopeful that none of its leased land will be affected but this won’t be known until the Minister announces the decision.
