Buddy System

Earlier this month Brian Embleton supported Supervised Session regulars Robyn Ellis and Kevin Redfern in their move across to the main playroom. He undertook to be their Buddy for two Duplicate Sessions.

The aim was to ensure that their transition to the faster paced play and demands on either north/south or east /west players would be trouble free and not an impediment to their enjoyment of the game.

The move was a great success enjoyed by Robyn and Kevin as well as their Buddy Brian. They even managed to come fourth on their first session's play in the main Duplicate movement.

We look forward to seeing more of Robyn and Kevin, as their transition from the Supervised Sessions provides them with the opportunity to play in many more Duplicate Sessions during the week.
